The challenges of cloud computing regulation in Saudi Arabia

On 9 May 2016 Dr Leonidas Kanellos participated to the Regulatory Training Workshop organised in Riyadh by the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He delivered two presentations, the first one on the "Challenges of cloud computing regulation" including aspects of safe contracts, cloud SLAs, information security, data sovereignty, standardisation and certification, consumer and data protection, and the second one on the "Crafting of tomorrow's cloud regulation" including an overview of the European cloud computing strategy in the Digital Single Market.
